Gunjon [/ˈɡuːn.dʒɒn/] is a writer from Kolkata, India. Having worked in Bollywood and journeyed through Southeast Asia as a screenwriter for a major production house in Jakarta, his experiences have imbued his work with diverse cultural influences.

Fresh off the press is his debut thriller in Bengali, his mother language, where he introduces a captivating duo of mother and son protagonists. This marks an innovative addition to the realm of thriller literature, featuring a groundbreaking mother-son team of investigators.

A passionate reader, Gunjon's curiosity spans a vast array of subjects, from Astronomy to Zymurgy, and everything in between. Speaking of zymurgy, his gastronomic fascination extends to fermented food and beverages rooted in the culinary traditions of Bengal and the Far East.

He loves his occasional spicy platter of Shutki Machh, or sun-dried fish, accompanied by Chhang, the home-brewed beer.
